     Once you bring your baby home you are responsible for the baby’s safety. There are things that you need to do so ensure your baby’s safety. One thing you will need is a baby monitor. You need to able to hear if your baby cries or gets hurt when you aren’t in the room. Baby monitor are very affordable and they are a must have. As infants babies are safe in swaddle bags. They can’t grab or poke themselves with their nails.

As your child gets older, you start to baby proof your home more and more. You need outlet guards, so your child does not stick his finger or something worse in an outlet. You also need door latches for cabinets, when your child begins to walk you don’t want them getting into the cabinets so they make cabinets latches so they can’t open them.

You also need stove latches and knob guards on the stove so your child cannot turn them on. There are refrigerator latches as well so your child can’t get into the fridge; there are dryer latches to prevent access to the dryer. As your child gets bigger and they learn to open doors, you may have to get dead bolts to prevent them from opening doors. When it comes to the safety of your child, you can never be too safe.
